About Us:
APPE Academy was founded in 1992, with the principle of using its experience and guaranteeing completely professional teaching techniques for individuals and organizations.

Facilities & Services:
Method: the global method used by APPE has been used successfully by the Peace Corps in Central and South America and introduces the techniques of visual, auditory, verbal and accumulated knowledge applied to specific situations.
The School: the school offers intensive Spanish classes for students and travelers who wants to learn Spanish, and for those whose jobs require ability to speak Spanish.
Training and Recreation: classes are held Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 12:00 in the morning, or 2:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon, but special arrangements can be made if these hours are not convenient for you. We also combine recreational, cultural and educational activities into the Spanish program such as visits to surrounding communities and educational trips (ruins, museums, indigenous communities, natural parks, etc.)

Rates:
Individual Spanish Course - 20hrs a week ($90 USD)
Individual Spanish Course - 30hrs a week ($110 USD)
Group Spanish Course - 20hrs a week ($65 USD)
Group courses are available in Antigua and San Juan del Obispo. We can only accept group bookings if you are an indivdual you will need to book individual classes. Please contact us for more information.

Individual Combined - 20hrs a week ($90 USD)
This option lets you combine 2 weeks individual course in Antigua with 2 weeks in San Juan del Obispo. Enjoy the beauty and excitement of Antigua then escape to the traditional pueblo of San Juan to immerse yourself in real Guatemalan pueblo life.

Specialist Courses
APPE can provide a range of courses for specific professions including - Hotel Management, Airline Personnel, Diplomats, Travel Agents, Social & Health Services, International Business, Teachers, Missionaries, University Students and more....
Registration fee $25 USD
We charge a one time registration fee of $25 on all bookings.

Reservation Policy:
This reservation service is free, as your 10% deposit is credited against the total value of your reservation. It is required in order to block your space and confirm your reservation with the balance of 90% due upon your arrival with us.

We may require additional payments to hold your particular reservation up to and including a full 100% prepayment depending upon the details of your reservation. You will be advised of these additional reservation payments (if any) before you are asked to make any confirmation deposit

Cancellation Policy:
After reservation, you are free to cancel for any reason and without penalty up to three days prior to schedule arrival. Any later cancellation or a no-show will cause a billing of one night's lodging per the terms of your confirmed reservation unless otherwise stated in your reservation confirmation.

Important: The only safe way to transmit credit card information over the internet is via a secure server, identified by the "https://..." designation in your browser's address bar.
Look for it in our own payment window when you reserve.
